Finally got my car working real nice, fantastic top speed and I can take corners flat out
I'm finding things are getting a bit boring racing round on my own though, so was wondering if anyone fancies a burn round sometime?
I normally find a quite area to rip around in, where no pedestrains, grannys or kids are likely to get in my way...
I've got me batteries charged up and a full tank of nitro ready for any challengers
Oh, I am of course talking about my nitro remote scoob here of course, not my real one
Any takers for a burn up?!
John

I live in Bedfordshire so no help for a race but I was using mine in the car park at work when the throttle/brake servo shorted and jammed the throttle wide open. Apparently someone chasing a screaming, smoking 1/10 gas powered scooby round and round looks really funny! I finally caught it and pinned it to the ground while I tried to get the body off and stop the engine. Somehow it stopped of it's own accord and didn't sieze although i have yet to find out what happened with the servo as it has just gone full right for no reason.
Could have been worse as I once started my 1/8th buggy without switching the servo pack on - it just revved itself to bits in front of my eyes - doh!

I be from Medway but unfortanately my Subaru might be too big.
It goes nicely round town at 29mph and on the motorway at 56mph, middle lane naturally. U might have seen it around Green UK94. Ive hung up my fluffy dice though!
Where about in Medway do you be?

I take mine up Kingshill in West Malling, quite a few empty car parks around at the weekends
I had a mere with mine yesterday, just kissed the curb (ok, was doing about 30mph) and the steering servo somehow moved making the car go round in circles, refitted it seems ok now.
I also had a major spill doing a 4 wheel right turn power slide, full throttle when it gripped and flew through the air flipping and spinning landed on its wheels and carried on. Hows that for style
I did feel a major d1ckhead when I lost control of it and it went straight under my car well and truly wedged under my exhaust. still, there was only about 10 people watching
Si what nitro scoob have you got? Mines a Koysho Landmax 1/8th. Goes like stick!

never kwew anyone in here goes mental around a Kyosho
haha
was thinking i was the only guy in here that mess around in one!
but i dont go round with Landmax no more coz it drinks too much of my nitro!
plus the car is a bit too heavy and cost too much to repair if i crash it like i did befor ( floor it then sharpe left hander but the freaking car juz fly forward and KABOOM hit the curb and flew about 15meters befor it stop, bent chassis, sus, body mounts, sterring arms, cooling fan and a crack Evo body...oooo...)
so im sticking to my Super10 ( old one ) and the new FW-04
small and powerful! both have OS engines shiped over from Hong Kong and everything is upgraded ( carbon decks, countershunk chassis, 2 speed gear, titanium rods....anything u can change i changed it! )
but its a bit cold out there now and i juz crased into a wall the other day when the car park was iced up and i didnt know....
oooo
guess i should have got the ABS on huh?
heheh

Any of you lot have links to a site that specialises in RC stuff?
The only RC scoobs I've seen are the rather naff battery ones you can get in places like Beaties, and I'd really like one of the dead nippy petrol ones I've seen zipping around the RC circuit at Crystal Palace sports centre...

www.ripmax.co.uk
u can find all the info from there
PS running cars like ours ( fuel ) is very hard work
coz everytime u finish messing round in one u need to clean it
plus its got a habbit of leaking oil from the cranks so it will be VERY messy
