Default Timing belt

Quick question..

Had two quotes for a getting my timing belt done from the same garage, one for just replacing the timing belt and the other being to replace and retense the belt itelf with a special kit, the latter being more expensive

Not being silly here, but I thought you have to tension the belt either way you fit it!

Which one do I go for?

On some models it's advisable to replace the cambelt tensioners as well as the belt.

Going to be doing my belt in a few weeks

Subaru do not put a interval on the tensioner x 1 and jockey wheels x 3 to be replaced but i would advise u replace them if any play are in them or they dont run smooth when spun would be inclined to replace them if more then 100k
