Default Advice on what scooby

Hi all,

Been a while since I posted, as I sold my 03 sti back in november last year to get the supra I have at the moment Toyota : 1995 AEROTOP SUPRA and now I want a scooby again!

I miss the 4WD, I miss the power (supe is an n/a, but mint aerotop) and want to invest in the right scooby for me this time.

What i'm looking for is to spend between 9-12k on a scooby, I prefer to have newer rather than older but my main requirements are to get a model thats the easiest/cheapest to tune to 400+bhp and that I can have a soundsystem in (I believe the type RA's have no air con/cd player) so i'm looking for everyday use too.

Any advice or comments or even people knowing of anyone that would like to part ex my supra aerotop would be appreciated

Thanks

If you want 400 bhp then i'd say get an STI as they have stronger internals and gearbox. A WRX box wont last two minutes with 400bhp and torque to match.

you might push it getting a Blob Eye STI for 12k but a Bug Eye should easily be within your reach

I'd get the best STi 5 or 6 you can buy for your money. This one is getting a lot of good press

If you're going to go for large power then you're better off starting with an STi as a base to save some money. An RB5 is basically a UK car.
