If you had up to 9k to spend what impreza would you buy? Also are the newer shaped impreza (bug eye etc) more robust than the classics?

You will have to give us more than that.

It depends what the car will be used for.Commuting, family car, track, or a combination?
Also, is insurance a factor and reliability and is performance going to be a major factor in your choice.

Reliability is a big factor. The car will be used for commuting but not major miles.

1.Blobeye wrx ppp (or similar power ugrades) may even have suspension/brake mods for that price.

Thats what im edging towards, I really like the bugeye cars and i know they arnt to everyones taste but 9k should get me a good example.

I paid £9200 for my Litchfield Bugeye STI last year!

Just fancied the newer look of a Bugeye over the Classic.
