Who would have brand new RE070's in stock now????
Hi All,
Which retailer would have 4 brand new RE070s for the STI in stock now. I'm having difficulty sourcing them.
Many Thanks in advance.

Why bother?
The tyres are cr@p anyway. Better get yourself a set of decent tyres that can handle wet roads as well as dry, which the Bridgestone can't.
Michelin Pilot Sport 2's are my recommendation

Eh! They're awesome dry tyres & are OK in the wet/cold I've got some & have had no problems to date!
To the poster - 235 tyres are tough to find (on the JDM's when they arrive), a more "standard" size can be obtained anywhere.

Spoken like a true idiot.
RE070's have got to be one of the best tyres out there, just take it steady through standing water or it'll kick your a$$.
I have driven them on the road no problem, on the track in the dry no problems, on the track in the wet no problems.

Eleven thousand miles of road and track, dry, wet and snow - the RE070s are excellent.
At Elvington in the very pi$$ing rain with a lot of standing water they could create phenomenal grip that had to be experienced to be believed. On the one area of track they struggled to find grip, other cars were spinning off

Well I did have the RE070's on my STI when I got it, and on wet roads it was very twitchy, and I nearly lost it coming off round about on only half throttle (no standing water) quite a few times.
I'd used the PS2's on my previous car, so bought these when I got my PFF7 alloy's, and what a difference. No twichyness, no losing it coming off a round about (on more than half throttle).
The difference in every day driving is quite a big difference.
This is probably more telling though. Prodrive recommend 2 tyres. P Zero's and PS2's. Not a Bridgestone in sight.
When the Stig tried to get a decent Lap time out of a Ferrari (think it was the F430) Clarkson said the Ferrari mechanics told him it would go even quicker if it wasn't on Bridgestones. Nobody likes them apart from the Japanese
Ferrari only use them because of their tie-up in F1
