sold your scoob!
how many of you have sold your scoob and wished you had not????
i did about 3 weeks ago classic wrx 95 silver (best colour and fastest)lol.
had it for 2 and a half years never had a prob with it cos i looked after it!
only reason for gettin rid was i thought i needed a change?
how wrong was i.

Yup, but really needed to sell. Will be getting another, and better one sometime. Had the chance to buy mine back for under £9k after getting £11k for it just 4 months earlier, but it just isn't the right time yet. I wouldn't have time to enjoy it and need to relieve myself of some/all of my mortgage before I get quite so frivolous again.

yep, sold my '03 STi at end of 2004 (wife gave up work for the kids!).
came into a bit of good fortune in '05, and bought another STi again - wife couldnt stand my constant sulking!

I swapped my mint condition MY97 UK turbo wagon for a Seat Leon Cupra, had the horrible feeling i'd done the wrong thing on the way home from the garage! 3 weeks later i swapped the Leon for a MY99 Uk turbo but still wish i hadn't swapped my wagon.

I sold my lovely 99 WRX ra v-limited a few weeks ago cause of pressures from the missus. I spent a week sulking around with the intention of buying the obligatory Golf TDI, but then i happened upon a beautiful S202 and thought f**k it, and i bought it. It is currently being registered so i should get it soon and i still havent told the missus ha ha
What the hell, i m taking her to Hawaii in a couple of weeks so she wont have a chance to complain.

Fuel bills were killing me at the time though

Im on my 5th Scob now, I keep selling them cos they cost alot (and the pressure from the WIFE !) then when driving around in what every car ive got after (normally a MK4 Golf) I wish i had'nt got rid of them, they put a smile on my face when im driving and so far no other car has done that and to me thats whats its all about.

I sold mine and haven't looked back, bought Impreza's for donkeys years wearing WR blue tinted spectacles until the day I bought Audi Driver magazine and took them off to read it and decided upon a test drive the following week. Wouldn't even bother stepping into a Subaru dealership again, especially when they bring out plug ugly hatchbacks.
Audi: A dedicated magazine once a month (Audi Driver, look out for it at your newsagent), a unique channel on Sky (884), what more could the enthusiat ask for?
Oh, and Audi send me a magazine free every quarter
Motoring bliss.......
