Newbie here

Picking up my scooby on Saturday a lovely 52 plate impreza WRX sportwagon can't wait.

Anyway it's over due it's 40k service, in age not mileage only covered 35K However will be 5 years old in Decemeber hence needs a cambelt service.

So do I do a 40k service now,or a 50k Service now and get the cam done, or do a 40k now and then a 50k in december.

Or could I have a 40k done now including a cam change and then a 50k later with out the cam.

Any help or recommendation would be great.

I would just get the cambelt done now to be honest, as you will defo need it at end of year, you might as well do it now to be on safe side - just make sure you budget for the pre-tensioner if you need it. Some do, some don't - just luck.

Get the cambelt done asap. Schedule is 50k or 5 years so it is due. Scoobyclinic recommend changing at 40k anyway. Better to be safe.
