Default Rolling Roads - how do they work ?

You know the scenario, you stick your car on a set of rollers, rev the nuts of it for 20 mins and at the end of it all a portly chap hands you a graph and says "Congratulations Mr XXX, your car's engine produces 4 squillion bhp".

So how is the bhp/torque calculated exactly and what are the variables ?

cheers for any thoughts,

Andy
