STI exhaust on an 03 WRX
I see lots of STI exhausts for sale due to upgrades. Are exhausts from STI cars of a similiar year compatible with my 03 WRX? Will there be any difference in performance, noise or engine wear?

yes.....no......a bit......no.
had an STi box on my 01 WRX, did sound a bit better, but looked loads better!
straight swap as well.

STI backbox is direct swap, had one on mine for a while. Very slightly louder and looks better. Now got a PPP one, sounds much better without being OTT loudness esp on the motorway.
