Greets all, i am getting a funny noise from the rear of my MY05 STI ppp at the minute...it sounds like 2 steel rods being tapped together like a distinctive chinging specially when i go over particualrly bumpy roads, I doesnt seem to affect the car hadnling wise at all, well as far as I can tell, I have had the rear struts recently replaced under warranty so cant believe its that surely not!??? Any ideas? I have had a look under the car and cannot see anything obvious.

 

How long ago were the shocks replaced?

Could be happening again, but then you would be able to compare the noises and confirm.

 

Well I didnt really know until the garage told me about them the first time, the work was done back last november to replace them.
