Default Petter may have 2nd place in Portugal

Cheating Ford using 0.5mm thinner glass, buoy that sure make a difference in the weight, just like forgrtting to put you mudflaps on

Rules are rules, but it seems a bit stoopid.

Best placing for Petter all year no doubt, and by default.

It's cheating, pure and simple. They should have been disqualified.

Now expect the usual "there was no performance gain, blah, blah, blah"

Could've been a manufacturer error. I mean, 0.5mm of glass. There's a difference between that and what Toyota tried to pull.

Still a new car. Let's see how they do at the next Meeting.

I hope that the new Scoob that has been posted on here doesn't happen.

Face like a well skelped bottie.

Regards.

Don't get me wrong rules are rules.

But 0.5mm of glass, they car rip a spoiler off on the first corner, or go for a dump before it starts and lose more weight! lol

Loose a spoiler and you loose downforce which means less grip so no advantage. I see what your saying, but things like this cant be helped, the glass is something that has to meet regs.
Any advantage is just that, and when cars are winning or loosing by tenths of a second it all makes a difference.
If Subaru did it i would expect them to get the same punishment.

I know what you're saying, but that sentence above stopped happening when the they changed the driver rules and lost the big names.

I remember the top6-10 used to be seperated by seconds, if that. Now we're talking minutes. Who ever said that the new rules would make it more exciting. Yeah right!

I have to agree with you on that one, its not the close called thing it used to be, but the rules are there just in case.

Haven't even seen a second on the WR Championship this year.

Bloody ITV, they just don't want to know about it anymore.

See they've started showing the BTCC after Midnight now too.

Shame really, as they do such a good job with the F1.

Saw Live coverage on Sunday on ITV 4. Seat won the first two rounds (Plato). But the new Civic R's were still being run in. One only turned a wheel on Friday for the first time. The Vectras look like they may get some results as well.

BMW put up a good show too
