I was thinking of having my car colour coded, I have spoken to my local bodyshop and he said if I gave him all the parts(Side strips, the 2 bits on the rear bumper & the wing mirrors) off the car he would do it for £100.

How easy is it to get them all off are they glued / non-removable?

If not how do I remove them?

Any advice would very helpful.

I had mine done with the bits left on.

Looked damn funny being done, the whole car covered and masked with just the skirts, mirrors and bumper bits showing.

Made a damn good job of it aswell.

For side skirts, they are dead easy to remove on my MY01 as mine were sprayed off the car. There are clips running the length of the skirt underneath the car and you simply pop them out and gently pull the skirt away from the car.Piece of cake and I'm no whizz on cars!

Hope this 'partly' helps?

Hello

I have just had these things taken off (apart from wing mirrors) off my MY00 impreza. The sideskirts are easy, theres a load of bolts along the bottom and a plastic pop thing behind the rear wheel......this was a nightmare to get off and ended up just breaking them off. The rear spats are a complete nightmare, 1 screw behind the rear wheel and 3 along the inside edge of the rear bumper, access is very tight and its usually very dirty in there.

Hope this helps
