I have an 02 WRX and bought a high level off ebay for £90 had it painted for £140 and it fitted straight on - no drilling.

The only thing is all these spoilers come in more than 1 piece - mine was two piece. You have to put them together and fit them after spraying so you need to be careful. The only difference between mine and a Subaru one is the brake light is in top blade instead of the bottom but I'm more than happy considering the savings I made.

Good luck.

Be aware the STi has stronger boot springs to keep the boot open with the extra weight.

As far as I know newage rears are the same but you cannot fit a classic spoiler onto the newage as the classic has a flat boot and the newage turns up towards the outer edges - honest go and look if you don't believe me.....
