How can I cantrol my SKY from another room?
Hello all.
I've got a single sky box in my front room.
I've managed tohook it up to my aerial sockets so it can be watched in all rooms of the house via an aerial socket.
Only thing is this means whatever channel the SKY box is set to, is played through out the house.
Now, picture this if you will. Theres me laying in bed silly O'clock in the morning watching Tele. My programme finishes and then theres another programme I want to watch on another channel. I've got to drag my sorry self out of bed down stairs to change the channel.
Theres got to be another way? Anyone able to help? How can I change the SKY channel from another room?

get a "magic eye" or similar, it works via the aerial input, you put the "eye" in the room you want to change channels from, link it to the aerial lead, and it sends a pulse down the aerial lead into the sky box to change channels (only on modern sky boxes though)

I tries that magic eye, for what ever reason it didn't work. I think it is something to do with the way I've split the signal to all the rooms.

I have Sky in 4 rooms using the magic eye's. You need to run cable from the spare Rf outlet on the box and for more than one eye you need a digi amp, as the signal needs to be strong.
I got a local Sky bloke to fit mine not sure of cost but wasn't a great amount.
