Just received my blurb on the STI VII from Subaru UK.

Now I believe a Wagon STI VII is available in Japan.

So unless I'm completely missing the point somewhere there appears to be no UK version.

Am I wrong or have we been let down by IM again?

That's why I bought a WRX PPP'd Wagon, apparently there will be no UK STi Wagon, b*stards!

Oi!
Leave my Wagon alone

Think UK spec STi Wagon would be a major plus point. just look at how many Audi S4 Avants there are, plus the storming RS4 (better if you have quatro sports have a little play with it as well)

I got a wagon, albeit a lowly 220ps 1994 WRX, because I needed the practicality that the wagon offered.

Question is, what would be the price comparison between importing a full on STi Wagon from Japan, and getting a UK spec PPP Wagon?

IM's just one little headache for you lot. At least you can solve it by importing. What about us furriners who want a LHD one?

Check out the spec of the Japanese domestic STi wagon though.
No wide 225 alloys.
No Brembo brakes.
No Suretrac LSD.
No alloy suspension arms.
No Supersports ABS.

So IM probably thought it was a better bet just taking the 4 door and having the PPP option for WRX owners as a middle ground?

Question

Umm - Interesting I didn't realise there were so many differences in spec between the Jap Saloon & Wagon.

Anyone know what the price difference is between the Jap Saloon & Wagon? Surely some of these can be cost effectively resolved?

Where did you get your info from - I'd like to check out the full specs further.

PS - As a further comparison - What are the diffrerences between the UK Spec STI VII Saloon and the Jap Spec STI VII Saloon?

Differences between STi UK and Japanese Domestic Market STi can be found on

http://www.iwoc.co.uk/my2002stiuk2.html

and the differences between the JDM STi 4 door and wagons can be found on

http://www.iwoc.co.uk/jpnewage.html

The sources of information on the above pages were found on quite a few different pages, the prime one being the Japanese Subaru website (as well as a few importers)!

Came from a my00 ppp wagon to a P1. There is a need for a Sti wagon. Nuff said.
