Which lambda sensor for '96 WRX

Default Which lambda sensor for '96 WRX

Anyone know what lambda sensor fits a '96 Impreza WRX,is it a 3 or 4 wire ?

3 wire. Geniune part is the way to go, your bosch universal item has lasted less than a year if it's gone already.

Whats the price difference between the two though ? If its as much as I think it is id rather go for the universal one !

I fitted the last universal one, not that long ago! Genuine one is cheaper in the long term. If you have a bung at the top of the downpipe, you can alter the wiring very slightly so the socket for the sensor will reach, and fit the cheaper genuine one in the downpipe.

I dont think its gone yet but you said it was dodgy and ive got the engine out at the moment and wanted to replace it amongst other things.

Do you know how much the sensor is that fits in the downpipe ?

Do you know how much the Bosch universal one is and where to get it from if I decide to go for that ?

Hey Zen ,

I need a direct plugin one for My02 ... Ive got a universal one but the 4 wires are seperate... do you have the one im after and how much?
