Just seen a magazine ad for "The Driver's Survival Handbook" at £19.95. Says it can you can use legal loopholes to keep your licence clean. Of course the ad says it's the best thing since sliced you-no-what but is it?

If this is the one written by M. Thwaite, then i bought a copy a few years ago. Lots of information, which you may or may not already be aware of. No silver bullets against getting nicked though! There is an existing thread in Scoobynet if you search hard enough.

If you can afford twenty quid, then go for it - if you can't then don't.

BTW, mine was an A4 plastic-spine-bound affair, not a true book.
