I have a few MY06 hawkeyes coming from japan and all the buyers have just got rid of there uk/euro imports.

Most of them change due to the spec difference others have friends with jdm's and once they see and feel the difference they want to get rid.

And as bighead said they drink a lot of fuel.

What a load of old tosh, There is no difference in fuel consumption between the 2.5 and 2.0 liter. I have a 2.5 and do mostly town driving and get around 18-19 mpg which is about the average for a 2.0 liter. Anyone with a 2.0 liter like to comment on their fuel consumption.

Man I'd like to see how your fuel tanker handles 200 litre tank

Anyway, 200 miles per tank is a damn sight more than mine manages.

He sounds like a top importer, hopefully he has one of his contacts sourcing me a nice white spec c so that will hopefully be on a boat destined for these shores soon

Default Spec C alert!

230 miles from 50 litre tank = 21mpg.

It's JDM so 2 litre engine

TX.

[edit - PCM sourced my car. Top bloke & top importer!]

No but I know he won't loan out the model report for 06 cars, so, how are managing to get them through SVA without the appropriate model report?

As I have said already, no I don't work for him.

I know he won't loan it out because I know of someone who asked for a loan of it, so was curious as to how you are managing to bring cars into the country if you don't have the correct model report.

So the uk spec 2.5ltr drinks more fuel then the uk 2ltr, Is that the only difference?

Is there any differences apart from the wheels & the spoiler between the STI & the spec D? dealer trying to get me to buy one of the Ds but I want the STI.

PCM,
Is the 06 JDM hawkeyes 2ltr or are they 2.5ltr, what kind of price are you selling them for?
PM me if you don’t want to say on the forum.

Thanks

Bagpipes - I think the Spec D also has a very nice black leather interior instead of the blue and also has front fog lights.
