in my opinion SARD, fairly easy to fit. You want a rising rate one, don't settle for one that isn't. You can pick them up cheap on ebay but watch out for fakes.

i wouldnt fit one imho i had a fse on my classic wrx and was fitted before i got it, shortly after i had the car it started to have fueling issues picked up on by my knocklink turns out that the fuel regulator had failed and they are not the most reliable thing i was told by the guys at pe and subaru4you unless your car is running lean top end then i would stay clear, just my two bits but i matbe wrong

Nice mods - would def get a Sard one. Had one on my old car, nice bit of kit. Would recommend RR tune once installed to check pressure is set correctly. I done mine on feel alone and tuners said I nearly had it set spot on but better safe than sorry

Personally I'd be putting bigger injectors in it, not putting a FPR on it.

Fair enough,I'n not gonna be anywhere near the 440 mark, Spoke to my tuner/mapper today who said 'the o/e ones would be pushed and to get the best from the set up he would recommend 650's'.

I wouldnt be byeing them from him so he's not gonna be making anything (£££s) from saying that.

Now I am confused and dont know what to go for? lol

taken froim Andy,F`s webby

Injectors
Most 93-98 cars have 380cc injectors which at standard pressure are rated at up to 300 bhp. Later STI and 99/00 UK cars have 440cc injectors which can run to 350 bhp assuming adequate fuel pressure.

MY 01 onwards WRX uses 380cc – MY 01 STI uses 500cc – the 500cc injectors are rated at up to 400 bhp. Upgraded injectors are available in many capacities typically

550cc for up to 440 bhp –
650cc for up to 520 bhp and
740cc up to 590 bhp.

if you have the dosh to spend on 650`s, you should have the dosh for a set of 550`s and a regulator (check the group buy section they often do a deal on em in there thats where i got mine from) 550`s should do you fine if your aiming for below 400 horses
