Default A favour to ask again

If anyone has a JDM STi MY03 can they tell me if the footwells are blue carpet or not

Was looking at one today and it had black carpet in the footwells, although the door panels had the blue finish on the door cards.

The fella said that the early MY03s had not got blue carpets on the footwells, is this true

Matt, would the JDM MY03 have the black carpets as well?

PS would the blue carpets be easily sourced and fitted at a later date?

A late 2002 JDM STi with the blobeye front, 68k miles on the clock but the catch is there is no service history with the car , although the car is driving like a dream.

What would you expect to pay?

Just to confuse the issue, my UK 03 STI has blue carpets and I know of 2 other Uk cars that also have blue carpets. Never seen a black carpeted one.

Now you've got me thinking. I'm sure mine were black! I had a look in the forsale section and there is a JDM Sti there with black carpets. Maybe someone who actually has one is best replying....lol

Scoob without Service History, walk away IMO.

WALK AWAY or offer 4-5k under the asking price, that should cover a rebuilt gearbox and engine, will not take into consideration you trying to move on the car when you go to sell though

I would not-ever buy a performance car or in fact any car of value without one!

No history / no sale.

Walk away unless you get a good few grand off to cover the potential rebuild it'll need. Its just not worth it.

Cheers
