Default New potential owner needs help. What should I pay?

Hi There,

I had only driven impreza's on track until a test drive last week and was blown away by th eperformance.

I am looking at an 03 wrx PPP sportwagon with 60k on the clock. It is in very good condition but has a couple of dings that I can easily get removed for about £100 by dentman. It has just had a new clutch and has a full Subaru service history.

What should I be looking to pay?

£8500 with that mileage - £10K will get you one with sub 20k mileage. Remembering that you can get an STi with 60K for £12,000 on an 03 plate.

Are you sure I can get a PPP WAGON with 20k ish miles for around 10k?

I am not doubting you because I have seen how many posts you have made but I haven't seen one that low.

Does the Wagon hold a substantial premium over the saloon generally because of its relative rarity?

Agree with you there.. not seen good cars at that price..Wagons are valued slightly lower according to Robert Bowetts Subaru in Leeds. However any unmolested standard cars sell at a premium. You may be lucky and get a desperate seller
