Were all Imprezas AWD?

Default Were all Imprezas AWD?
Were all Imprezas AWD, just seen an M plate in red with bonnet scoop and big wing on the rear but I can't see a rear diff. RAC shows it as a GL, so is it AWD or front wheel drive?

no not all... the 1.6 were front wheel drive. as were some others too...

oh i aint got a clue then i just know someone whos got a gl and that got a diff but think its 2.0

My 1993 1.6GL is only two wheel drive (front wheels)

Correct, my old 1.6 LX was FWD, although some 1.6's were 4WD aswell I think?

mines a 4wd and its got a hi and lo gear next to hand brake but i always keep it in hi and not sure weather to put it on lo

Anyone who has had the privildge of being given a base model Impreza as a courtesy car can vouch that they are a front wheel driven sloppy pile of poo LOL
