photoshop transparent bonnet help???
how can i make the bonnet transparent so you can see the engine???? new to photoshop and need help.. thanks in advance

Take one picture with the bonnet closed, take another with the bonnet open from exactly the same spot (tripod or support needed for camera).
Put each photo into a seperate layer in the same file and set the opacity of the one with the bonnet shut to suit.

does anyone then have some sample images i can use as i have not got 2 pictures the same as you described.. one with bonnet open and one with it shut... thanks

You'll need to do more than set the opacity, otherwise you'll still see the open bonnet. Use the eraser tool on one of the layers to remove it also...

thanks very much.. im also trying to change a background i have a picture of a scoob on an industrial site and i have the background i wanna use which is a mountain road.. been trying all night but i cant do it.........
