Default sti brakes

scooby dealer wants £850 to replace front discs and pads, can you recommend a better disc and pad for better performance and price, lv heard black discs are good?

don't know about other discs and the like, but i do know main dealers try and rip your eyes out when it comes to brake parts.
i was quoted £393 + fitting for front and rear pads for my wr1

just to add that price was about a year ago, so god knows what they want now!

Try Welcome To Godspeed Motorsport as they are doing 2 piece discs and bells for just over £300 a pair to fit with the STi Brembo's

You could also speak to alyn at as performance, he posts on here as stockcar. He will answer any questions you have and find the right disc/pad combo for you.

Be wary of cheaper cross drilled discs, they like to crack..

Just go direct to brembo, much cheaper, think its Brembo uk or something like that.

They're also really easy to fit yourself. An hour per side max.
