Default top glovebox

how do you remove the top glovebox is it just the 4 screws?it wont open correctly and need to take it off to tighten it.dont want to force it to much and break it (myoo)sorry double post

If its the passenger side top glove box then I am sure you need to be able to access the screws from the back (dash removal)
Thats what I discovered when changing the air bag to glovebox.

If it's the centre box on top of the dash, you have to put a bit of rag through the catch and pull like hell straight backwards. It will eventually just pop out but it seriously feels like you're going to wreck it.
