Hi,

I am looking for some information on the type R and RA.

The information I got is that the
type r is 2 doors with DCCD and water IC
RA Race Altered has the closed deck!

What is the difference between the normal Impreza?

Is there a site where I can find more info or can anyone of you give me the information?

I'm not sure that all of the typeRs had DCCD and ICWS. I'm sure there is a WRX typeR and an STI typeR.

Closed deck blocks were only standard on Version 1 and 2 imprezas IIRC.

Basically they are the lightweight versions of the 'normal' WRXs and STIs. Things like thinner glass, no motorised ariel, non-painted door handles and mirrors (RA only IIRC), no electric windows. Obviously, these could have been added as an extra when irst purchased!

I'm sure somebody will be along soon to add to this!!

Basiclly both are lightweight versions. Stripped out as mentioned above.

WRX RA has IC water spray
Short ratio gearing (ammazing on pick up **** top end)
lightweight bonnet/wings and glass etc.

STi RA/Type R as above but with a few added extras (Type R =2door)
DCCD
roof vent
