EBAY ACCOUNT HI-JACKING SCAM
Had an ebay question sent to me about my impreza this morning, it read as follows :
will buy your item let me know your reserve also i need to know if your item has the same specs, same options like this, take a look, here is the link:
(Changed the link abit to disable it)
Stupidly i clicked the link and had to sign in to my ebay.
The link went knowhere really, but they got my ebay password.
They sent 26 messages off my ebay saying the same with that link in it.
So had to change my password sharpish, but worried now about what this scammer know about me and my ebay and what they can use my account for.
Anyone had the same happen to them?
P.S. DONT CLICK ANY LINKS SENT IN EBAY QUESTIONS

I had something similar through a couple of days ago. I was selling a camera, and had a message through along the lines of "I saw one just like this a couple of days ago, check out http://...
The URL looked legit at first glance - you had to read all the way through it to find the reference to a domain which wasn't a legitimate Ebay site. Thankfully I'm pretty good at spotting scams and didn't follow the link, but I'm 99.99% sure it was a phishing scam.

looking at the site is an exact copy of the log on page, the onyl give away is the web URL itself, im sure one day they wil be able to clone a URL so the page will be a log on and the URL wil read ebay.co.uk/signin/host or alike

This one is doing the rounds big time at the moment. Just sold my girlfriends wrx on ebay and over the last week I received about 30 odd emails saying similar things, forwarded all of them to ebay who confirmed they were dodgy !!

my missus had one very similar however hers was tellin ger she owed 19000 ( in some obscure currency ) in sellers fees and gave her e alink to pay it off.
Luckily though she has been hacked before on Ebay so shes very conscious. It was only cos she had paid her sellers fees off recently and questioned the amount in the email she didnt get had.
