Default Who ran at santa pod RWYB - 17/2/07

Just wondererd who ran down the strip yesterday at Santa Pod. I took mine down there for the first time yesterday ( hoping that i wouldnt blow it ).

I managed to run a 14.4 and a 14.12 @99mph. Whats the average for a 94 wrx? _ my reaction times were close to a second so **** slow with it being my first attempts.

Ran against my mates punto GT. First run he was close to me until 3rd gear where i pulled away - second run i came off the clutch much harder and with more revs and blitzed him by 4-5 car lengths.

I'm guessing i should be able to break into the 13s even though car is standard? Was happy though as timewise i went down quicker than a monaro and a TVR.

Here's a pic of some other chaps scoob that was trying to slay evo's.

What 60ft times was you getting mate as the track can be a little bit slippy this time of year

first 60ft time was 2.3161. This was launching about 3.5 -4k and feeding clutch in. Bit of a ***** start to be honest and i didnt feel the kick in the back from the turbo you usually get.

2nd time i launched at about 4.5-5k and fed clutch much faster. There was a hint of traction being broken but i covered 60ft in 2.11 and ended finishing about 5 car lengths ahead of mate.
