Parallel import service/warranty issues

Parallel import service/warranty issues
Thinking of buying a 'parallel import' car (UK spec). I know that a year or two back Subaru UK (IM) were being 'difficult' about providing warranty. I understand that this has now been resolved and owners of parallel imports can expect to get full 3-year Subaru UK warranty cover.
Can anyone give any feedback on how this works in reality? - i.e. are Subaru Dealers and IM 'difficult' about providing service and warranty repairs for imports, or do they do it without any hassle?
Cheers.

Do a search on here and you should find plenty of answers basically should be ok as long as car properly registered with IM. Bear in mind though that warranty repairs have to be approved by the supplying country not IM.
