Default Need help with keys

Seems my52 uk sti key may have lost its programming, and for sure my local dealer will need £100 just to test it Blimey i can almost buy a new tyre for that money I could do with some help reprogramming this key. I have heard of a way to do it by removing the foowell cover & connecting wires etc etc, & another way using the internal keypad. I realise that this may be a sensative subject to ask about but i am a little tired of getting in the car typing in my pin to disarm the emmobiliser & waking the neighbours during my bleery eyed attempts at getting the number right., ( doesnt make for a quick getaway ) just for info my key is the single button type. Please help if you can. If i can get help anywhere its here ( no pressure guys

also if succesfull, how can i get the beeps back during arming & disarming?

Cheers Scoobyboy

Not sure really.

Neither the alarm nor the central locking works from the fob. Im guessing the transponder side. I have found a local locksmith that can reprog so i should get sorted. He is asking for the emobilser Number, ive not got this so i hope i can trace throught the chassis number.. if you can help in the meantime i much appreciate

I am sure a dealer would do this for free. I know you are (probably) out of warranty, but this is common place. I have had it done for free.
