grooves curving from the trailing end centre outwards end forwards if that make sense!!

I alwars thought the grooves ran in the same direction as the disks travelled, so that centrifugal force span the hot gas and dust out of the grooves.......this means Bartop's are fitted back to front IMHO

Bartop's are fitted the correct way, the direction of rotation is dictated by the internal vents, not the external grooves.
