I'm posting this to make fellow Impreza drivers aware and asking for you to keep an eye out for me.

On Tuesday evening, some little ******* **** ******* decided they wanted the rear spoiler from my P1. The car was parked for about 3 hours in Reading, just by the A33 Shell petrol station where Hewlett Packard used to have their offices. If anyone spots one for sale on here or ebay etc please pm me. The spoiler was in top condition and I would probably be able to tell if it were mine ( I am that **** ). All the plastic fittings are still on my boot so it would need bonding to fit it to another car.

So if anyone around Reading or that goes to the Jap meet there hears about, gets offered, sees for sale, a P1 rear spoiler I would appreciate it.

I have made it a mission to try and get the culprits in court.

There is the top part of one on Ebay at the mo', I'm watching it - just do a search on P1 spoiler.

Gutted for you mate. The area around that Shell station is a right sh*t hole. I presume you watched Reading beat Wigan then? Crap way to end a good evening! I'll keep an eye out but I use the Shinfield Road one mainly.

They left muddy footprints on the bumper where they had either stood on it or used it for leverage so I assume they'd come across the small grassy bit from the estate by there.

I spoke with the guy earlier, he said that he got it from work, works in a garage and that a customer wanted to sell it - it was stollen from a car but the insurance paid out blah blah blah. It also needs new 'clips' from where it was removed.

Think there is a number on it that matches up with your car give prodrive a buzz ask them a lad on isdc had his taken but he got it back.

All this takes me back a few years when I woke up one morning and some scumbag had taken the spoiler, scoop and fog covers off my P1. Made me physically feel sick at seeing my car like that. Feel for you fella, hope you get this sod.

That spoiler is a P1 spoiler, has the carbon fibre strip on it too.

E-mailed Mike Wood at Prodrive. He wasnt aware of such a number but if anyone knows different.....

Yep. All the bolts are still through my boot and the plastic clips would all have come off the underside of the spoiler.
