insurance against being unable to drive?
#2
ISTR an insurance company who would insure you against being unable to drive (e.g. loss of licence, break your leg, etc.). It was based on the Isle of Man. I thought I'd read it in the SIDC FAQ but I can't find any mention of it. Anyone know the details (there was a web site associated with the company)? Although the premiums were quite steep I recall that they would pay out enough to hire a chauffeur for a year.

Rum (Tom Butler) of schofield insurance fame gave me some info on a company that does just this. From memory you can choose your level of cover. Give him a call (usual no connections etc, just happily insured with him )
