simple, just carefully prise the badges off and use something to clean the sticky stuff off underneath. panel wipe, petrol or something similar.

not thinners.

its all about taking your time. i mask the area off on cars i have done before to avoid slipping and scratching the paintwork.

I did mine using a hair dryer and cleaned it off with WD40.

Failing that, Vim and a pan scourer !

I took the subaru and wrx badge off mine, left the STi on. Think it lOOks much tidier. Doesn't shout "SUBARU" to everyone.

Also took the pink sti stickers off the fog covers & the sti badge on the upper grille (when replaced with grille kit). Less is more! (stealthy).

If it's stealth your after why not go and buy a wagon like me, anyways, are you stating that people won't realise it's a Subaru without the badge.
If i were that ashamed of the badge i'd sell and buy another car.

It makes the car look cleaner/ more of a sleeper.

I also have a Wagon and believe it or not since I took off the fookin great WRX badge, I don't get as many tailgaters.

a debadge (can) shout a lot without trying

my 300+ WRX looks TOTALLY standard apart from the fact that it is debadged

gives plenty of the sub 250bhp crew (RX7, LCRs, R32 etc) a true shock when they try to push you and you disapeer into the distance

I'd hardly say an STI is a 'sleeper' with it's great big rear wing and gold alloys!
