The flaps i bought (from Scoobyparts i think) only required one hole drilling per side for the fronts, the rears were straight forward.

Yes but the metal is pretty tough!
Prepare to loose a drill bit when trying to create a pilot hole.
Thank god only two are required.
Did mine (fronts and rear) in about 45 mins.

The prodrive mudflaps from your subaru dealer do not require any drilling in any metal.

The ones I just bought from scoobyworld, do require two holes drilling in either arch. Then self tappers are used to screw in.

Its an absolutly ******* to drill the holls because you cant get behind the brakes properly, so you need a really small drill. But everything else was straight forward!
