Check your maff sensor, or disconnect the ECU leads from underneath the steering column some where in the footwell area.

Unsure if the 98 are the same but a battery disconnect resets it but its nice to know the reason why it came on first....

Same here but there is a morse code way of doing it without taking it to the dealer or finding someone with delta dash
