Bloody hell!!
A few years ago a mate of mine was towing my then motor (205 1.9 gti) with his land rover with a solid tow bar.
He was going a bit quick round some lanes, he then had to stop suddenly the landy went abit sideways and i was dragged into the back of it
Not as much damage as that 
though!
