Default advice please

The car dealer where I bought my car from is offering to sell my highly modified 206 on his forecourt.

due to my unsuccessful attempts at selling it, I am finding this an attractive offer, since he will put it in the showroom, and advertise it for me I will save a lot of costs. but obviously i wont get paid until it is sold.

Anyone ever done this before?

I'm worried that if something happens to it, ie to the bodykit whilst it is being test driven, that I am left to fork the bill.

How can I protect myself, if I decide to take him up on his offer.

cheers.

Ask him out right!
If it gets damaged are they going to pay for it etc. Either way, you won't get any money until it's been sold
