Default How make an v6 RA Limited road legal with lhd?

Hi all,

I am decided to buy an STi v6 and make LHD conversion. Only problem is COC for this VIN this is like mission imposible. I cant get COC for car with steering conversion and cant get confirmation from local importer that this car is same as EU MY99 and use COC based for this. I know in UK is this car road legal so there is little chance make it in rest of EU too (law says if is legal in one EU country its is ok for all) So can you tell me how you can make this car legal in UK pleas?
If this will not work I could make only RA transplantation into my MY98 and sell rest what remain from my old car and RA bodywork.

Thanks

Erik

Why not SVA the car in your country whilst its still right hand drive (assuming that your regulations mirror ours)? Alternatively convert the car and then register it here first. A LHD car will only require an SVA, not an E-SVA so no model report is required, making compliance easy.

In the absence of a Certificate of Conformity, you need to pass a (n Enhanced) Single Vehicle Approval test. In England a left hand drive vehicle only need pass the simple SVA test. When the car has been registered in England it can then easily be registered in any other EU country.
