Default RA or not???

Hello people... Can anyone confirm that mine is a true RA

I'm pretty sure it is due to the gearing being so short and a ****e top end but...

In the case of selling it on, I want to be 100% honest

The code is GC8C47D... Hope that helps

Thanks.

Your car should be red or white, have no rear wiper, have an i/c waterspray system and a 5th injector on top of the manifold. If it is/does, its a proper one. The code looks about right from memory.

Unless its white with DCCD and a roof vent its a plain 1995 (or 96, they both used C as an age identifier) WRX Type-RA. Sorry James.

Happy new year to you!

The 5th injector will be sat directly on top of the engine manifold, south of the intercooler as you look under the bonnet.

the guy only asked about ra not sti type ra....so its probably right enough ! no lining in boot and alloy bonnet too. and no under seal and gearbox sound padding etc etc..but great fun. i had one but hard to live with as a daily driver due to gearing. 4000rpm+ at 65-70 !!

I was replying to someone else. The AMN ending 47D identifies the car as a Type-RA. As I see that its (Vivian) red (which I couldnt when i was replying before), I can say that it is definately A WRX Type-RA.

Early cars were only available in red or white; then white only. Other colour options came later.
