Default Do all 6 speeds have DCCD?

Just a quick question, as am looking at a six speed and wondered if they all came with DCCD as standard, also do they have their own ECU?

Not all of them mate.

UK cars only came with DCCD from MY05 STi i believe, some JDM's had DCCD prior to this but not all that had 6 speed had them. IIRC

DCCD (Drivers control centre differential) is available on the following cars:

JDM STI 03 onwards

UK STI 05 onwards

And some classic shape STI's, I'm not sure which ones specifically.

And MY04 WR1's. 6 speed started on MY02 STi's so for three years 6 speed without DCCD.

It was called DCCD on the classic and DCCD-A (A for automatic) on the new ages. Also got a yaw sensor (adds additional input to the auto control) from I think MY06 on UK cars, probably earlier on JDM.
