Default Reasonable servicing cost?

Hi - i'm getting my car serviced at the weekend (major service diffs & gearbox etc) and i'm being charged £350?

What is the general charge for this service?

Am i being ripped off?

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the south yorkshire are - close to - Barnsley - Sheffield - Wakefield - Huddersfield?

350-400 quid for a 3 year 30k major service is the norm i think,so no, your not being ripped off.
Monty's in Sheffield seemed ok when i used them a couple of years ago.

One other thing... is this forum just for people in scotland? Or is it nationwide?

Scoobyclinic aren't too far away, may be worth seeing what they charge.

That aint too bad - even if you can get it 20-50 quid cheaper is it worth the extra fuel costs and inconvinience travelling.

350 sounds pretty good to me

Price seems about right. Also suggest Scoobyclinic just south of Chesterfield. You can look at their website for servicing costs, just cherry pick off your service schedule and add up SC prices which are shown individually for different major bits of servicing, and just add one of their "general check overs".

Thats cheap compared to my dads mate who recently paid £500 to get his KIA serviced

£350 sounds about right for a 30k mile service on a scoob!
