welding up exhaust
hi all
while the scoobs of the road after the deer crash on Saturday i thought id get round to sorting out my leaky vortex exhaust ,the gasket between the back box and the center section keeps blowing ,replaced it a few times so was thinking of getting my welding buddy to just tig weld the 2 together permanently would this be a good or bad move

Hmmmmm......might be wrong but I could see that cracking pretty quickly. Surely it will stay sealed with a decent gasket, some exhaust paste and tightly secured bolts?
