Default Subaru purchasing incentives

As you'll probably know, in recent years Subaru UK have given buyers of new cars a number of incentives to help sell their cars ranging from 0% finance the current offer of free fuel.

I'm on the verge of ordering a new Subaru but i'm thinking of waiting to see if there will be any offers with the MY07 cars, as the free fuel offer doesn't apply to 2007 cars.

Does anyone know if anything is going to be offered?

I personally liked the 5years warranty and servicing, thought that was a far better benefit.

I bought mine with the FREE PPP, seems to help with insurance as they take it as standard on the car!

The incentives are usually there to shift the old models so I wouldn't expect anything for a MY'07 until at least September 2007. However if you want a MY'06 model then the dealers might be willing to haggle (assuming there are some left).

Depends which model you are buying. Go and buy a new STI and you'll get mountains of cash off. But then so you should given the residuals. Frankly it would seem that a 10-15% discount is par for the course on any Subaru these days so that is not a bad starter for ten if you don't want to wait.

or why not just buy a EU import and save the money that way personally I'd try and hang on for the 'new' hatchback model

I think the 07 cars will be heavily discounted due to the new shape 08 cars, especially once summer arrives.

I've got the free servicing on the current car but wasn't wanting to buy a new car without knowing what was about to be knocked off the asking prices or given away free in the coming months.

I don't need to order a new car ASAP, i just want to!

If i have to wait until the summer then so be it.

Looking at getting a Spec B by the way.
