Based on the last 3 years every bloody bridge from Cardiff to Port Talbot - absolute money making operation.
They are all theiving, miserable, jobsworths with ugly wives IMO.

They quite like giving the Rally Drivers a ticket or two too.
Apparently, the Police are the only people skilled enough to safely drive above 60mph on a `B` road.
Quite how they say that with a straight face in front of Loeb, Gronholme (spell check), etc is beyond me.

I live near Lampeter which is close to Brechfa stages and know the coppers up here have nothing to do but catch speeders!!
They'll be on a bridge after a long streight between junctions 34-35 as the road bears left, they're there most days so I'd expect to see them on these days,
They'll also be on the dual carriageway (A48) near cross hands, on the way to Carmarthen they'll be at the bottom of a big hill (in a layby) which bears round to the left, There is a speed camera sign.
On the way back they are always sat between cross hands (A48) and the M4 (J49), sometimes after the mini services/Cafe, sometimes on the long streight just before the cafe.
We've had some new speed limits put up near Carmarthen, They also have a very sneaky bike with a camera that likes to hide.

The whole rally is a fk up. The ticket prices, cameras, condensed stages. I went for 13 years in a row, but have not been the last 3. It's just pure sh!te. Can go and watch another event abroad for the price of the ticket here.

Rally legends Colin McRae and Nicky Grist are urging motorists to follow their lead and sign up to the lifesaving NHS Organ Donor Register.
The award-winning duo, who are due to take part at Rally GB in Cardiff next month, have teamed up with UK Transplant on the eve of a massive mail campaign urging motorists to join the register.

Well I went for the first time last year, and thought it was bloody great! Haven't been to Wales for decades and really enjoyed it. OK they crack down on speeders...derrr that's kind of obvious isn't it. It's a nice little Christmas fundraiser for them when most of the fastest cars in the country will be in their area. They'd have to be idiots NOT to be out and about with the speed traps!
Just drive slow and enjoy the scenery. I tried keeping up with the last of the production class drivers last year on the way from Halfway to Cardiff and there was no way they were keeping to the limit, or even close. They were leapfrogging everything in sight as if there was nothing coming the other way (which there most certainly was). In the end I just slowed down and was glad of it too when other traffic on the other side of the road started flashing for a speed trap on one of the overhead bridges going into Cardiff.
Was fun for a while though.

Must admit I'm really excited again now, can't wait to get down to Rheola on friday! Although I definately agree with the sentiments of many on here that the organisation of the event has gone to pot just a bit over recent years.

I went on the last year where it wasn't staged completley in Wales, I think it was 1999, it was great.
Watched a stage at Blenheim, then Chelmsford then into Wales for the night ready for the following day.
The following day parked in farmer palmers field for £5, for a car of 4, so the whopping sum of £1.25 each.
It was great to see all the top names fly through the forest and to be able to walk freely around the stage (being sensible).
The following year was when they stayed in Wales and started selling Tickets per person. It cost about 6 times as much and we probably saw about 1/2 the amount of rallying....spent most of the time sat in traffic que's....BARGAIN
I havn't been back since.......but often wish I could be teleported onto a stage somewhere for free
i expect the TV coverage will be as good as ever though...NOT......
