Legacy Spec B
I'm on the verge of ordering a MY07 Spec B Legacy and wondered what experiences anyone has had with one.
I understand they lose a lot of money over the first 6-12 months and i am wondering if i should wait a little longer for some of the MY07's to depreciate a bit.

I must've stuck gold with my dealer then, i seem to get a first class service from them which includes any car for the day whenever i want a test drive!
4 new Subarus (if i go for the Legacy) in 4 years may account for this...
I take it you're pleased with your one then, apart from the dealers?

Mine's done 40,000, not had any real issues other then a few niggles that should have been sorted by the dealers.
If you intend to keep it for 3 years then I'm sure you'll be very happy with it, they are good to drive, handle well for a big car and are anonymous to all but an enthusiast.
I see the 07's have a few extras like HID's, memory seats and MP3 compatability.
Get the Prodrive rear boxes put on the car as part of the deal, they make the flat 6 sound a bit more vocal, it's too muted when standard.

I'll give some thought to the back box, thanks.

Agree about the rear exhuast boxes, they really make that flat 6 sound awesome! new for 07 is SI drive too, you get to choose how you want the car to perform, literally swapping fom economy driving to full 3.0l performance! All cars will depreciate in the first year, however Legacys in my opinion will hold thier value the most out the range assuming we're talking estates.

It will mean removing the workbench from the back of my garage to fit it in but as i don't use it anyway it's not a problem!
