Are subaru insane ?
I've got a weep in the little plastic expansion bottle by the passenger headlight on my 97 wagon.I rang my local dealer Wilsons of Chadwell Heath and they quoted me £168:00 for it.Naturally I queried it ,but they said it was right.
I'm feeling it's time to sell it and buy a Porsche it might be cheaper to run-Unlss they've got it wrong !!

I look for most car parts on Ebay now, especially for parts such as the above. Dealer prices are, in the main, a joke. I just purchased an OEM set of front brakes and pads for something like 70 quid delivered from Ebay. God only knows what they would have cost from a dealer!
I quite honestly think they have priced themselves out of the market in about 90% of part enquiries due to their 'think of a price and double it' mentality.

I would never use a Subaru dealer for any repairs - Not only are they hideously expensive, but they employ people that work from instruction manuals - not from experience. I would use a private specialist every time.
