Thumbs up Wet track days can be fun!

Jools at Knockhill > Subaru STi 7 prepped by Roger Clark Motor Sports > Drifting - Google Video

Taken at Knockhill on Saturday morning, when it was wet, cold and windy!

Video courtesy of Cal

25 minutes of in-car footage here (100Mb video, so broadband users only!):

Knockhill SIDC Trackday - Google Video

Some of it is taken from an offset angle from the passenger side, so it appears as though the cars are sideways all the time, but this isn't the case. The amount of spray on the windows from cars in front makes it appear wetter than it actually was.

Video courtesy of Squirrell/Cam

Nice driving; loads of fun as long as you don't lose your bottle and lift

Jools' car has a full exhaust, headers and induction kit from RCM, plus uprated fuel pump, some lightweight pulleys, full set of silicon hoses, and a remap by Bob Rawle. Power estimated at around 370 - 380bhp. On the suspension front, I believe it's got various whiteline bits in addition to the coil over suspension supplied and fitted by Powerstation. Brakes are massive AP racing 6 pots with discs around 350mm that need 18 inch wheels to clear them. The interior has Defi gauges, some lighter seats than the standard ones and a different steering wheel.

It's a bug-eye STi (2002), so doesn't have a DCCD!

Despite the very poor weather (intermittent rain and freezing cold winds!), a great time was had by all. That's the main reason our next event there won't be until about March next year. Too much risk of snow/ice and they won't let us out on track in those conditions, even with 4WD!

Don't feel too bad Steve, I did a very similar move in my type r on the KH hairpin. They can be a bit tail happy out of that corner.
