Bonnet scoop replacement
Hi.
I am replacing the scoop on my 2001 WRX as with part of an upgrade package I had an STI intercooler fitted.
I have brought the underbonnet duct ready, but have not yet got the scoop.
Any suggestions on where I might get the bigger STI8 scoop from and what difficulties I might face fitting one ?
Cheers
Darren

Specifically made for the "bugeye" impreza.
brilliant fit and brilliant quality, but then all their fibregalss stuff is.
AFAIK all the bolts and stuff are all in place so should be no more than a 20min job to replace once it is painted.

Cost me £150 in total. That includes painting to your colour choice and postage. Exellent job too, perfect colour match. Not that bad to fit, took me 45mins to replace the std scoop on MY00 calssic. 6 nuts to remove from std and a couple of lock screws (loosen off, twist) then pull the scoop out carefully. The new scoop had to be lined up to match the holes in the bonnet then drilled. Nuts & bolts are supplied along with a couple of aluminium flat lengths that run along the inside of the scoop for extra strength.
Phil.
