Socket for spark plugs?
Was told there was a Subaru only socket to change spark plugs on Impreza (MY00 UK turbo). If this is the case, where's the best place to get one apart from a dealers? I've tried Ebay but haven't had any success! Anyone got a spare one they want to get rid of? Need one in the next few days.

Subaru only socket!? - slap the feejit who told you that
Just a normal spark plug socket, A U-J joint connector, a long extension and a short/medium extension and a ratchet.
Plus hands the size of a child would be handy and plenty of patience. Shift water bottle and airbox to get better access. Don't twist or bend or force coil packs as they are ceramic inside and will crack causing misfires and hesitation. Remove rubber bung on the plug socket when re-inserting the plugs, as you often find you end up getting the socket stuck inside the cylinder head.
